05 Feb Mike to go to new heights for The Donna Louise
In June 2020 Mike Reynolds, a director of DPC, will be undertaking an extreme climbing challenge in aid of The Donna Louise.
Mike is climbing the South West ridge of the “delagokante” or the Delago tower; one of the 6 Vajolet towers in the Italian Dolomites. It stands at 2,970m (9,745ft)! The towers themselves are recognised from the opening sequence of the film Cliffhanger. This is a serious and dangerous climb and Mike will be completing it with John Paul O’Hara.
Kilnworx Climbing Centre, in Burslem, are sponsoring the climb; providing training facilities and kindly providing the necessary technical equipment.
Our first milestone is to pay for a day of care at the Donna Louise so please help us to get to £5,003 by donating via our JustGiving page – https://www.justgiving.com/fun
Look out for training updates and news on fundraising events!
