DPC History

Our heritage can be traced back to 9 February 1943 when Edwin Downward started the business in Wellesley Street, Shelton, Stoke-on-Trent.

John Plumb and Mike Colclough joined in 1962 and 1963 respectively, and the firm became Downward, Plumb and Colclough, later becoming known as DPC.

Our team has grown steadily through the years to over 60 today, making us one of the larger independent firms in the area. The growth in our team has led to various property moves, all within a one-mile radius of the centre of Stoke.
