You will provide a wide range of audit services across a diverse range of clients, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver a high calibre audit service.
Our audit function is growing, and the successful candidate will have a defined pathway for personal and professional development along with opportunities for career progression.
This is a pure audit role but could potentially include accounts for the right candidate.
Main duties:
- Responsible for audit management from planning to completion.
- Lead the onsite audit team, responsible for high quality audit fieldwork.
- Prepare files for review by Directors.
- Provide advice to client/s on audit matters.
- Build positive and longstanding relationships with clients to support the firm’s success and growth.
- Supervise, develop, and mentor junior members of the team.
- Deputise for the Audit Manager as required.
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified or nearly qualified ACA or ACCA.
- Practise experience essential.
- Experience of leading an audit assignment from planning through to approval of the statutory accounts by the Board.
- Strong financial reporting knowledge essential.
- Good communicator who excels in a client-facing role.
- Have a close attention to detail, working accurately and to budgets and deadlines.
- A self-starter who can identify issues as well as opportunities and propose appropriate solutions.
