Audit Senior

You will provide a wide range of audit services across a diverse range of clients, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver a high calibre audit service.

Our audit function is growing, and the successful candidate will have a defined pathway for personal and professional development along with opportunities for career progression.

This is a pure audit role but could potentially include accounts for the right candidate.

Main duties:

• Responsible for audit management from planning to completion.
• Lead the onsite audit team, responsible for high quality audit fieldwork.
• Prepare files for review by Directors.
• Provide advice to client/s on audit matters.
• Build positive and longstanding relationships with clients to support the firm’s success and growth.
• Supervise, develop, and mentor junior members of the team.
• Deputise for the Audit Manager as required.

Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified or nearly qualified ACA or ACCA.
• Practise experience essential.
• Experience of leading an audit assignment from planning through to approval of the statutory accounts by the Board.
• Strong financial reporting knowledge essential.
• Good communicator who excels in a client-facing role.
• Have a close attention to detail, working accurately and to budgets and deadlines.
• A self-starter who can identify issues as well as opportunities and propose appropriate solutions.
