Our very own Simon Owen is taking part in the Manchester100 on Sunday 4th September 2021 in aid of the Christie Charitable Fund.
The Christie is an amazing charity that provides cancer care to cancer patients and help make a difference to families affected by cancer, this is a charity close to my heart, as Simon lost his dad to cancer, and we are sure you will have friends or family members who have been affected by this horrendous disease.
The Christie is hoping to raise £23 million to build a new centre In Macclesfield where Christie patients will be able to receive outstanding cancer care, closer to home, currently, patients needing cancer care offered by the Christie have to travel to Manchester.
If you can and of course if you want to, please show your support to Simon by helping him raise as much as possible and make his 100mile bike ride on Sunday worthwhile, if you can make a donation The Christie would really appreciate it.
If any of you fancy taking part and joining Simon then its not to late, get involved and register!!
Many thanks for any donations on behalf of Simon and The Christie.
